So, Apple announced the new Macs. Now, for about 3 years, I have had a tradition in which whenever Apple announces a new Mac Pro, (Apple's Top of the line super deluxe high-end premium computer), I build an online model trying to drive up the cost as high as I can. Here are the results:

1.   Processor: 2X 2.93 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon

2.   RAM: 32GB (8x4GB) 1066MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM

3.   RAID: Mac Pro RAID Card

4.   Storage: 4TB (4X1TB) 7200RPM SATA 3GB/s

5.   GPU: 4X NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB

6.   Optical: 2X 18x SuperDrives

7.   Monitors: 2X Cinema HD Displays (30" Flat Panel)

8.   Mouse: Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse

9.   Keyboard: Apple Wireless Keyboard

10. Wi-Fi: Airport Extreme Wi-Fi Card with 802.11n

11. Fibre Channel: Quad-Channel 4GB Fibre Channel PCI Express Card

12. Additional Software: iWork '09 Family Pack, Final Cut Express 4, Aperture 2, Logic Express 8, Filemaker Pro 10, Mac       OS X Server (Unlimited-Client), Xsan 2 ALL PRE-INSTALLED

13. Adapters: Mini DisplayPort to DVI, Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI, Mini DisplayPort to VGA.

14. MobileMe: 1 Year Membership

15. AppleCare Protection Plan

16. Canon PIXMA MP620 Photo All-In-One Printer

The new Mac Pro. Beauty outside. Beast inside.

So, this Computer could probably last...
