The "Arizona Massacre" has occurred, leaving at least 6 dead and many others injured. Congresswomen Gabrielle Giffords had a bullet through her head (she is just now breathing on her own), and we have many others who are in serious condition.

Worst of all, a nine-year old girl has been sent to her grave. And now WBC is protesting at her funereal. The same WBC that protested at my school. The same hate group who spreads hate throughout this nation, believes that God sent the killer.

Then I read this article about that girl...It really shows the extreme degree of tragedy with which we are dealing.

Welcome to American Politics in 2011?

Is this the Nation in which we want to live? Do we want to see our politics so polarizing, that people feel that this kind of harmful action be taken to express political ideology?

This freakazoid, Jared Lee Loughner is obviously a deranged individual. He says his favourite book is Mein Kampf, and I find that especially creepy because Ms. Giffords, like myself, is Jewish.

This guy did what he did because he felt it necessary to express his opinions through violence. He saw bullets as a more effective tool than ballots.

His actions, while uniquely violent, were spawned by two years of non-stop 24/7 political rhetoric, which has just about ruined this nation's political process, and made it imposable to have a simple discussion without someone exercising Godwin's law, or saying something racist, or at least being unwilling to listen or pluralize with their opponent.

Sarah Palin says that she "hates violence" in a letter to Rush Limbaugh, two people that I just love so dearly. Give me a freaking break.

Lounger is a terrorist. So is Palin. They both employ violence, physical or rhetorical/verbal to get their points through, and they are both unwilling to listen to others. In fact, I believe that any politician or any speaker of rhetoric who employs fear and terror to get his or her point across is no less a terrorist than the ones who killed almost three thousand Americans nearly ten years ago.

In this country we have the Conservative party- the Democrats, the Ultra Conservative party- the Republicans, and now we have the near fully established Tea Party, which is more just plain batshit then conservative. One trait of conservative parties, at least in the United States, is their inability to see things from other's points of view. These three parties are very much like that....unable to sit down with each other and have a conversation, and perhaps even make progress.

No, instead the three parties just talk smack about one another in a feeble attempt to score political brownie points. This is mostly in the form of attack ads or stump speeches. Instead of Player 1 speaking out against Player 2's opinion, (which is how democracy works in other civilized countries) Player 1 is now speaking out against Player 2's existence. Where Player 1 used to say "I believe that Player 2's economic policy will be harmful to this nation," (indicating that Player 2 has the wrong idea as to how to help the nation), Player 1 now says something like "Player 2 wants to enact policies that will hurt this nation" (indicating that Player 2 wishes harm to the nation, and is thus a bad person).

The preceding is just a mild example of what's happening in this country. It's political destabilization at it's slowest, but destabilization nonetheless. We're looking at a situation where the lies and threats and unkind words are said by these people on a 24-hour news cycle with the intention of brainwashing as many people as possible. If you say it enough times, whether or not it is factually or morally correct, it starts to appear as fact.

People fall for it because they are ignorant, and ignorance is a citizen's worst enemy.

Avoid ignorance by seeing things from other's points of view. Seek many opinions. Most importantly, think for yourself and form your own opinions. Don't do or think something because some political party or special interest group, or politician you really like because s/he watches the same TV show as you, or some blogger (like me) told you to. And whatever it is that you think, always be able to see things from other's points of view. Be pluralistic about it. Don't be afraid to change your mind in public if someone gives you a new idea that you had not before thought of. If you think for yourself, you can do anything, and there is no limit on what you can do or how many people you can help. Peace out.

Still trying to figure out how to make the site sustainable. Obviously Nothing has happened in a while.

Here's what this site is gonna become:

- It is, as the title says, my own Outlet.

- I've got a nice new video coming soon. It is a well edited multi-cam vid of me preforming "Dread and the Fugitive Mind" on the drums. I will make it available as soon as it is cleared by a certain organization for public viewing.

-I'm turning this site into my primary blog...I work at the SF Bike Kitchen now...and I've seen things...amazing and beautiful things.

-I've opened a DeviantArt Page for my drawing and graphical stuff. Stay Tuned.

-Workbreach Radio and Mega Sonic Comics are dead. D.E.A.D. I've tried too many times to bring it back, it's not working, and unlike in it's heyday, when I was in 7th grade, I'm a junior in high school now, and I can't possibly come up with the time to do it.

-The sidebar is going to have a shortened version of my Bio, and basic contact info.

-The site, obviously is being redesigned.

-Maybe a new URL to come soon....Workbreach[dot]com will still exist, but It's a name I came up with in 5th grade...need I say more?

Just finished a week's worth of final exams, and now it's summertime! Coming soon, there are some major updates to the website that I will be making, as well as some major announcements to come as soon as I can realize that I'm writing this at 2 AM and should wait till tomorrow to post them. Updates should become much more frequent now that I'm out of school.

The major updates that will be posted tomorrow at some point are going to change the way the site operates for the better forever. Stay tuned...

It has been a while since my last post. This is more or less a test post as I am making it from my new moto Droid. Things will be returning to normal at some point, but I have so much work to do that my update scedule is really questionable. I cannot promice when my next update will be, but now that I can make the update from where ever there is 3G service, things are looking better.

It's really a shame that I can't update more frequently. It's an even bigger shame that the Super Bowl XLV logo is TERRIBLE. But on the bright side, WHO-DAT!

Saturday is looking good for posting some new material, but I'm not promising anything.

I'm now getting close to buying a new computer. When I made this website, November 11, 2006, I was running a Toshiba Satellite M45. Now I'm rocking a 32-bit MacBook from almost 3 years ago. I have my sights on a 13" MacBook Pro with whatever amazing technology existes in December 2010. My predictions: USB 3.0, 1.5TB (10.5mm thick for that extra platter) hard drive, and an Intel Core i series processor. Who knows, maybe even L3 Cache- Highly unlikely, but a man can dream. (L3 Cache is too nerdy for non geeks to worry about).

OK, that's my update. Perhaps every Monday, I can do one of these.

Hello all! It's been almost 3 months since my last post. So much has happened since my last post. I have just a few things I'd like to announce:

1. Happy new year!

2. My podcast, Workbreach Radio, is going to return soon! We are working on yet another attempt to get the show breathing again. It will work this time, as I'm no longer a stupid middle schooler with no social life or a student of Mission High School.

Workbreach Radio will have a format which will be like "Mclauglin Group" meets "BBC's Fighting Talk", with a pinch of actual new and commentary. It will be licensed as creative commons, and It will be badass!

3. My resume will have to wait for internet posting.

4. My drawings WILL be posted...eventually.

I hope I will get back into a normal schedule of posting.

One Movie!

Epic Space Battle, A production of Workbreach and TILT Media was revolutionary in the way it used Google SketchUp, and now, one year later, we bring you "When Bananas Attack", a movie set in the same reality, one year later.

The story goes as follows: The Center for Earthbound Unusual Activity (CEUA) discovers that evolved bananas can make you go luny for an hour, but don't do anything to help because they are on a retrofitted weather satellite. Mild humor ensues.

Enjoy! I have also added caption vision to the movie "Mission: Very Unlikely", partly because of how bad the audio was on that movie. I might add captions and subtitles to other movies in the future.

I have discovered the answer to why many of my videos have poor quality video. It is dure to software degradation, and should not be a major problem anymore, other than that I have a camera that only shoots 480i, and through software, I must encode it with AIC at 720p.

Coming whenever I get a new camera, my movies following that will be in 1080p, or "Full HD".

First of all, a very happy thanksgiving to everyone. I hope we can all be thankful for all that we have, and mind those who are less fortunate than us.

So...looks like my written resume is still not up, so this website will be my resume.

As for the drawings, they are still on the way, but like everything else on this website, when it comes out is determined by how much work I have to do elsewhere, such as in school, and the school I go to gives a lot of it.

So, welcome (back) to workbreach.com, the website ruled by the brain of me, Elijah Post. To those who don't know already, this website has all of the graphical stuff and other multimedia, like drawings, and music, that I've been making since I was 4 years old. The site also plays host to whatever I think of or want to say. i run and control it- total control BWAH HA HA!!!

So?the site is being renovated for the time being, so most of my stuff is offline now, but it'll all be back by the end of the month.

Today I'm announcing that my resume will now be available for viewing and download in about 2 weeks. And i'm adding some of my drawings soon too.

Expect a detailed description of each section in a post coming soon.

Much has changed since my last update. I don't have much time right now to write this, but I'm back and I'll be writing more soon. My IT problems just reached it's climax with the destruction of 4 of my Hard Drives- a total capacity of 1380GB of storage, lost. And a big bleeping hole in my wallet. I have no more scratch or transit drive, so I have not made a single edit of video for 2 months.

Yet so much good among the bad. I finally leard how to ride a bike, "Epic Space Battle" was excepted into a film festaval, and I transfered out of Mission into a great new High School.

The site will now undergo massive overhall....

I'm back again.

So... Walter Kronkite died, a woman payed $1,200 for a wheelchair that you can buy online for $250, and a man burst into flames after being tasered. I have been gone and by gone, I mean too lazy to update. But I'm back, and I'm here to say that I'm making a new movie, and I'll be working with the people who helped me bring you EPIC SPACE BATTLE. Details are not disclosable at the moment, but the movie will be out in a month.

Billy Mays Dead

Billy Mays, the man who yelled at us to buy Oxy-Clean, the master pitchman, was found dead in his tampa bay home this morning.

He apperantly died in his sleep of head trauma. His plane had a very rough landing, and he was hit in the head by a huge suitcace. An autopsy is being preformed. Billy Mays was pronounced dead at 7:15 AM Eastern Standered time. He was 50 years old.

Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon Dead

Today, Michael Jackson, yes him - the king of pop, suffered from cardiac arrest and was rushed to a hospital, then later transfered to UCLA. He was pronounced dead at 2:30 Local Time. He was 50 years old.

Farrah Fawcett also died today after a long battle with anal cancer. She was one of the origional Charlie's Angels, and starred in several emmy award winning productions. She was 61 years old.

Ed McMahon also passed away yesterday in his home, he was 86 Years old.

In other news, I have a new piece of music coming out soon. It's a remix of te New World Symphony.

Exodus Tyson is dead. 4 years ago, when her birth was mentioned on the news, my dad perdicted this would happen based on Mike Tyson's astrology. Trippy...and tragic that he was right.

Yesterday, Rush (I don't know how to spell his last name), the insane radical right-wing looney, called judicial nominee Sonia Sotomayor a "Reverse Racist". Saying that she hates whites. This is one of the great political FAILs of the week. By calling her that–as if to insult her–, he shot himself in the foot. This remark is almost as dumb as "Opposite Sex Marrige". The opposite of a racist is a non racist, the defination of racist is not limited to whites, and he puts a bad name to any white person who agrees with him becarse of the reason I said before.

The G.O.P. is in deep trouble now. All that seems to be left running the party are Michel Steele, Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Rush Whats-his-spelling, and miss U.S.A.

If anyone wants a comment from me on the CA Supreme courts desision on prop 8, I'll just compare it to the Dred Scott Decision.

The Light at the end of the Tunnel

Today the dow is up enough to get back the losses of the last two weeks. I think a three day weekend is exactly what we needed.

Over the memorial day weekend, I was looking for a Best Buy in Colma (a solid 30 miles from my home), and got lost in a graveyard. As I walked passed the military section, I saw that at the top of whatever it would say, the emblem of thier religion would be circled. I wondered what would it would look like if that fallen hero was an athiest.

This week, we are dealing with the contravercy over tourchure. The G.O.P. first said that enhanced interragation tecniques never happened, than when it was exposed as happing all the time (in some cases the detainees were waterboarded 5 times a day, had thier nailes pulled out, had been smashed against walls, been forced to eat pork and drink alchahol against thier religion), they said that it was nessessary to protect the country. Now thier next level of excuse is we said it was O.K. because doubl-ya said it was.

Instead of military tribunals and holding them indefinatly, we would be breaking less human rights laws if we simply shot them in the head. Also, WHERE THE HELL DID THE REPUBLICANS THINK THE DETAINEES GO AFTER GITMO? THE NORTH POLE? Did they think Santa would take care of it for them.

Violating human rights laws are not in the intrests of national security. Solar Panels are. It's time to really start the 12-step program of Oil-Anomyous. Not just raising standered for oil. This is the kind of thing that can fix our economy as well as put some much needed oxygen into the air. It works for everyone. We all know that the G.O.P. has enough oxygen to the brain problems already.

So let's take a look at what we have learned in the past 7 days.

1. The presedent of the United States may, as much as he wants, cap on his administration. "Today is mother's day", Barack said. "Which is diffucult for Rahm Emanual because he is not used to using the word DAY after the word MOTHER."

1A: GAWD DAMN, BARACK- THAT'S BRUTAL!!!

2. Secratary of Defences are allowd to fire thier commanders for no reason at all. Which makes sence considering that the same thing is happening to the employees of companies that pay billions in bounses to thier CEOs.

3. Giants fans can be good in the ring. Just ask Manny Pacquiao.

4. I just learned that I can spell Manny Pacquiao.

Today, as the dow struggles to stay afloat, and more rumors about the upcoming WWDC take shape, I stop to say something compleatly unrelated. Today, I am announcing the consolidation of Mega Sonic Comics and Workbreach Radio to form "Miscilanious Projects". This way I will have more creative choices as to the next piece of media I would want to add to the site.

Now I know why Star Trek Nemesis Failed.

After seeing the new Star Trek Movie, I now understand why Star Trek Nemesis was a flop when It was in theaters back in 2002.

In 1966, nobody had a device that could find anything for you, tell you where the resteraunt was, and give you driving directions, and still have room for talking to people in far away places while being able to fit in your shirt pocket. Even in 2002, phones existed, and could do things that Cmdr. Data's tricorder couldn't. We trekkies need to understand that although that movie had a genuine bad plot, it's a much needed modernization of Star Trek. Something that would have compleatly pleased us would have been such a flop that Star Trek would not have been able to Survive. You can compare it to Get Smart and it's modernization.

Star Trek has had 3 eras now.

The 60's Era: Consisting of just the origional series.

The 2nd Era: Consisting of Everything from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (1979) to "Star Trek Enterprise" (2000-2004)

The 3rd Era: Which, I believe started yeaterday with "Star Trek" (2009)

Star Trek will now continue as a modernized and adapted franciise for the 21st Century.

Now, if we only knew which century the next movie would be in. 23? 24? Or maybe something compleatly new?
